BlueStone, India’s premier omni-channel fine jewellery destination, has appointed Rumit Dugar as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). With over seventeen years of diverse experience in Technology, Fintech, and Equities Businesses, Rumit is recognized as one of India’s top-rated analysts by Asiamoney, a prominent financial publication under Euromoney. In his new role at BlueStone, Rumit will lead the entire finance function, overseeing controls and governance frameworks, capital access and allocation, and investor engagement.
Rumit’s professional journey includes roles at renowned organizations such as J.P. Morgan, Infosys, and IDFC. Beginning his career as an ERP consultant in 2004, he transitioned to the equities business within J.P. Morgan. Rumit has led technology and telecom sectors for investment banks across India, Europe, and Hong Kong. Before joining BlueStone, he served as the Chief Financial Officer & Head of Strategy at Niyogin Fintech, a publicly listed Fintech neo-banking platform focused on delivering impact-centric solutions to MSMEs. Rumit’s expertise spans various areas, including CFO responsibilities, strategy, M&A, investor relations, and capital markets research.

In his new role, Rumit will focus on enhancing market expansion initiatives and reaching targeted audiences across broader geographies by exploring ways to bolster the brand’s capital base through strategic growth initiatives. Rumit holds an MBA in Finance from SP Jain Institute of Management and Research and a B.E. in Computer Science from VTU.
